Almost every watercolor was completed in my studio in Carpinteria, California. Due to some physical limitations I most often work from photographs I have taken, and some that are brought to me by others. I just don’t do very well painting on location. Almost all the work represented here was completed in the last eighteen years. My serious study of watercolor only began when I retired from Sunkist Growers in 1995.
